Roy Hall was a 2 time state champion and four time state placer before graduating from Davison in 1988. Hall took over the Davison wrestling program in the fall of 1997. Through his first 11 seasons, Davison was 309-48-1 with 6 State championships, 10 Big Nine championships, 10 district titles and 11 regional crowns. Cardinal wrestlers earned 68 All-State spots, including 17 individual titles. In 2005, his eighth year on the job, Hall was voted National Wrestling Coach of the Year. In 2009 coach Hall was inducted into the Greater Flint Area Sports Hall of Fame. Coach Hall's greatest legacy though is the many wrestlers that he has influenced & prepared over his great career.

Assistant Coach: Trevor Perry

Trevor Perry led Davison high school to 4 state titles. Perry was the 2005 individual state champion, two-time all-academic honoree, 2004 all-state recipient, finishing third, two-time conference champion, three-time Fargo All-American, two-time FILA All-American & finished seventh at the senior national competition. Trevor was then recruited by Indiana where he made 3 consecutive trips to the NCAA championships, 3X placer at the Big Ten championships, his 12 pins during a seasons are tied for the 10th most in IU history, had a combined 7-0 performance at the Hoosier Duals and F.I.T.E., chosen as the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week following the Hoosier Duals performance. Coach Perry's mental toughness & winning attitude, along with his Davison roots are sure to help Davison wrestling for years to come.
